Questions about pricing
How does the free trial work?
Every plan starts with 7 days free. A card is required, but nothing is charged today. You get the plan's channels, seats and workspaces straight away; AI generations, X posts with links and the agent's daily limit are trial-sized until your first payment (or start your plan early from Billing). If you don't cancel before the trial ends, your plan starts and you're billed for the first month or year.
Is posting really unlimited?
Yes, for normal use by the people and accounts on your plan. One exception: X charges much more for a post containing a link, so each plan includes a monthly allowance of X posts with links (listed on each plan); X posts without links stay unlimited. Some networks charge us for every post, so if a plan's posting is far beyond typical use, such as automated bulk posting, we'll contact you before anything changes. The details are in our terms.
What counts as a channel?
Each connected social account is one channel. One X account and one LinkedIn profile, for example, count as two.
What's a workspace?
A separate space for one client or brand, with its own channels, calendar, media and team, and you switch between them from the sidebar. Creator includes 1, Team 3, Pro 5 and Agency 20, all on one bill. Channels, people and AI allowances are shared across them, so you can give a big client more channels and a small one fewer.
Who counts as a person?
Everyone across your workspaces, including invites that haven't been accepted yet. Someone in three of your workspaces counts once. Creator is for one person; Team allows 5, Pro 15 and Agency 30.
Which plan is right for an agency?
Agency, if you manage more than five clients: 20 workspaces, 100 channels and 30 people for $99/month. With five clients or fewer, Pro covers 5 workspaces and 50 channels for $59/month.
Can I change plans later?
Yes. Switch plan or billing period any time from the Billing page in the app.
Do prices include tax?
Yes. Prices are in US dollars and include any sales tax or VAT. Checkout can show the price in your local currency.
Is the AI agent really unlimited?
Yes, for normal use on every plan. There's a daily safety limit, shared across your plan's workspaces, to stop scripts or runaway sessions, far above what anyone uses by hand. AI images and videos have monthly allowances that reset on the 1st; the usage ring in the agent chat shows how much is left.
How do I cancel?
From the Billing page, any time. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
Can I run Postbase myself instead?
Yes. Postbase is open source, so you can self-host it for free with your own platform API keys. The plans here are for the hosted version.
