- The agent finds the video with list_media and attaches it by id. Postbase uploads it to YouTube when it's due.

Problems go back to the agent, not out to your followers
- No video
- A YouTube post without a video attached is refused when the agent calls the tool, so it can pick one from your library.
- Made for kids
- YouTube requires every upload to say whether it's made for kids. The agent has to set it, so it should ask you.
- In the past
- A time in the past is refused rather than uploaded straight away.

Frequently asked questions
Can the agent upload a video from my computer?
No. Upload the video to your Postbase media library first. The agent can then find it and schedule it, but it can't send files of its own.
Can it schedule YouTube Shorts?
Yes. A vertical video under YouTube's Shorts length limit is published as a Short.
Does it set the video's visibility?
Yes. The agent can make it Public, Unlisted or Private. If it doesn't say, the video is public.
What about TikTok?
TikTok requires you to choose who sees each post and agree to its terms yourself, so an agent can only save a TikTok draft. You schedule it from the Postbase composer.
